A Japanese Garden in the Desert: Arizona Highways Explores Our Sustainable Oasis

Robin Sewell of Arizona Highways visited the Japanese Friendship Garden to speak with Executive Director Ben Schrepf to learn what makes it unique. “The concepts of Japanese Gardens are consistent no matter what climate you’re in. That translates to the Sonoran Desert the same as it would in Japan,” explains Schrepf.
