What is Nakama?

Nakama (仲間) is a Japanese word for people who stand beside you, work with you,

and move toward the same mission and goals.

Nakama Project

Nakama Project is our corporate giving initiative that brings businesses and the Garden together as partners with shared goals.

Through this project, we invite partners who believe that giving is not a one-way act. It is a shared exchange where both sides grow, learn, and support the community.

As Nakama, you will help us share Japanese culture, support education, and create deeper understanding in our community. Your partnership helps the Garden offer meaningful programs, preserve an authentic cultural space, and connect people across backgrounds.

We take time to learn your company’s mission and find where our goals align. Together, we can build a partnership that supports your organization and strengthens the community we all belong to.

Join us as Nakama, partners in purpose, growth, and connection.
