About the Event
Experience Japanese New Year Traditions
Celebrate the New Year with us through lively performances, hands-on activities, traditional demonstrations, and seasonal refreshments that showcase Japanese culture. Enjoy a Kids Taiko Performance, a festive Mochitsuki (mochi-pounding) demonstration, a Mochibana making experience, and New Year Japanese Arts and Crafts. Guests may also enjoy sake, tea, and other beverages and snacks available during the event.
All demonstrations and activities are complimentary with general garden admission. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended to secure seating, or you may purchase general admission at the gate.
