Ever been interested in learning about Japanese-style pruning? Join Ben Schrepf, Garden Curator of the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix, as he guides you on a tour of the garden and demonstrates several pruning methods commonly practiced in Japanese gardens. 

Topics will include the general concepts of Japanese gardens, Japanese pine pruning, shrubs (tamamono and karikomi), rejuvenation of older plant material, and sukashi (thinning). Please join us!
