About the Event
Check-in time: 15 min before the starting time of the program
Your prompt arrival will ensure a more pleasurable experience not only for yourself but for the other participants as well.
Celebrate Father’s Day with a hands-on Japanese ceramic workshop inspired by Wabi Sabi — the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection and simplicity.
Join ceramic artist Ping Wei to learn traditional hand-shaping techniques and create your own unique bowl. In Japanese culture, imperfections are cherished as part of each piece’s character and beauty. Create meaningful memories and take home a one-of-a-kind handmade work of art this Father’s Day season.
Come and see what authentic beauty and a touch of imperfection can bring!
In this workshop, Ping Wei will teach you the traditional, hand-shaping method for creating your own tea bowls and develop a deeper appreciation for Wabi Sabi art.
