Presented by Phoenix Shogi, this session will cover the fundamentals of shogi, providing participants with a brief look at the history and legacy of the game, as well as a chance to learn and play with others. Whether you're completely new or have played a game or two, this workshop promises an insightful journey into the fascinating world of shogi.
Instructor Information:
Phoenix Shogi is a group of enthusiastic shogi players led by Tyiss Goodman and Vincent Simone.
Tyiss has many years of teaching experience and is a former chess instructor. Vincent is an amateur 1-dan shogi player, experienced chess player, and go enthusiast.
