Come to Haru in the Garden and take in all of the beautiful culture and celebration that spring brings to the land of the rising sun.
The Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix invites you to our annual Spring event presented as a socially distanced exhibit this year. Walk through our paths showcasing beautiful displays on various spring holidays and Japanese traditions such as:
Hinamatsuri dolls for Girls Day
Koinobori carp streamers for Children's day
1000 Origami Cranes Display presented by Yume Japanese Gardens of Tucson
Ikebana cherry blossom flower displays and flowering bonsai trees
Elegant wedding and furisode kimono exhibits
Japanese Calligraphy Scrolls by Encolor
Spring Bar with cherry blossom cocktails and jelly sake
Snack Bar with fun Japanese seasonal snacks and tea
Stepping into the Garden will be stepping into the sights, sounds and foods of a Japan spring! Purchase your time slotted entry tickets today. (Presale tickets only, no at door purchase available). Limited admission to 150 people per time slot (Every one hour)
