About the Event
There are two programs to choose from: 9:30 am or 11 am. Please make sure to select the ticket according to which timeslot you prefer.
We’re happy to share that our Tea Tasting Program has become a well-established part of our offerings at the Japanese Friendship Garden.
Japanese tea has been a part of daily life and tradition for centuries. This program offers a relaxed and enjoyable way to experience tea outside the formality of the traditional tea ceremony—focusing instead on connection, mindfulness, and the simple pleasure of a good cup of tea.
Your experience includes:
A casual tea lecture and tasting of popular Japanese teas such as Sencha, Hojicha, and Genmaicha (with more varieties to come).
