Ping’s Ikebana is the art of Japanese flower arranging. It is about the love and the need to create beautiful forms. The practice of ikebana brings natural botanical materials (flowers, branches, leaves etc.) into our living spaces, providing a way to achieve the perfect harmony between us and nature. Heaven, earth, and humanity.
In this workshop, Ping Wei sensei will first discuss the concept and techniques while creating real examples of ikebana. You will then create your own ikebana using the materials provided. After you have finished your arrangements, Ping Wei sensei will provide his valuable insights about the work you just created. The workshop is most enjoyable for everyone.
